After seeing Malkin and Kulemin tear it up in the KHL this year, you have to wonder why Pittsburgh doesnt try to trade for him. You have to think he could be had at a relatively low price.
Neal-Malkin-Kulemin - power forward line that can score. |

We'll see what happens with TK on Line No. 2. Will each linemate get his own puck to shoot?
Surprised to see Eaton reportedly in the mix for a job with NHL Pens already. Despres would be logical odd-man out. |

Bylsma is the worst coach in the league. Bring in Mike Keenan, he knows how to coach a hockey team not try and relive a pathetic NHL career. Bylsma is garbage, he won the cup because of HCMT's system he had in place. A blind monkey could have won that Cup. |

So I'm guessing you're not a fan of his goatee.
We had a poll here a week ago. Fifty percent-plus of readers believe Bylsma needs to win 2 rounds to retain his job.
The way the Pens promote from within, Tony Granato would be a logical replacement.

FYI(not sure if somebody posted this already):
The Pittsburgh Penguins have acquired a conditional draft pick from the Dallas Stars in exchange for defenseman Carl Sneep, it was announced by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero. |

I'm guessing you mean currently on the pens roster or in the pens system? TK is the right place to start I guess Jeffrey would be next in line. Even with Tangradi's struggles Jeffrey still doesn't appear to be inserted in the line up. Not a big fan of Glass on the 3rd line either. |

Yeah, Tony G would be alright, but to be honest im sick of the ex-player coaches. We need a REAL coach, not someone who misses playing the game. He just doesnt seem to have a plan or a system. The whole "Get the puck out of the zone quickly, north south system" is what every team in the NHL already wants to do. Its called hockey. |

Tk skates with Geno and Nealer. Another bad move by Bylsma, that line needs a checker to create space for Geno and Neal. TK is not that guy hasnt been since his 1st season with us. Cook is a better option. Also Tangradi should never see the ice in the NHL again, if you have a frame like he does and you play as weak as he does you should become a golfer. Or become an less effective Alexei ponikarovsky, Could you even imagine that!! |

I voted for Cook and agree a checker suits Genos line best. Not a Dan fan. |

Because the players would love to play for Mike Keenan right?
Considering the Pens were out of a playoff spot when Bylsma took over I would say he did a pretty good job to say the least. To say that a blind monkey could have won the Cup is an insult to what Bylsma accomplished. The players tuned MT out just like they would if a guy like Keenan was brought in. I will say though that Bylsma should be on the hot seat. He needs to do better than what he has done obviously the last couple of seasons in the playoffs. He's been outcoached. |

This team needs structure and discipline, not a goofy beer buddy. Bylsma is not the answer, the sooner the Penguins realize that the better. Bylsma may have known how to play hockey but he does not know how to coach it. |

If they want to keep that third line together as indicated, the next logical choice is Dustin Jeffrey. He, at least, has some offensive instinct and decent speed. |

expendable after the Eaton signing and it sheds a contract. |
